PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton University baseball team returns to action this weekend with a four-game set against the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md.
Due to an inclement weather forecast, the series, originally scheduled to begin on Friday, Mar. 20 at Max Bishop Stadium will now be played as a pair of doubleheaders (7 inning/9 inning) on Saturday and Sunday, Mar. 21-22.
Princeton is 47-61 all-time against Navy with a 28-45 record on the road. Last season, the Tigers split the four-game set against the Midshipmen.
THE WEEK THAT WAS
• Princeton is coming off a pair of losses to East Carolina University.
• The Tigers dropped the series opener 11-2 before suffering an 8-3 setback on Wednesday.
• Peter Owens hit .625 (5-of-8) during the two-game set with a run scored.
