Men's Golf to Visit Stanford in Spring's Second Tournament

The second tournament of the Princeton men's golf team's fall season will bring the Tigers to California for The Goodwin, a Stanford-hosted tournament named after the Cardinal's former coach, Wally Goodwin.
Princeton will contend with No. 7 Stanford, No. 11 USC, No. 15 Oregon, No. 24 UNLV, Arizona, Boise State, BYU, Colorado, Colorado State, Denver, Loyola Marymount, Minnesota, Northwestern, Pepperdine, San Francisco, San Jose State, Saint Mary's, Santa Clara, Southern Methodist, Texas Christian, UAB, UC Davis and Washington State on the Stanford Golf Course, which will have a par of 70 and measure 6,727 yards.
Princeton will begin teeing off at 1:10 p.m. PT/4:10 p.m. ET Thursday for the first 18 holes, then at 8:25 a.m. PT/11:25 a.m. ET Friday for the second round. Tee times for Saturday's third and final round will be determined by the team standings after Friday's second round with the first tee times at 7:30 a.m. PT/10:30 a.m. ET.
Princeton played its first event at Georgia, a one-day, two-round event on March 16 in which the Tigers finished seventh of 14 teams. All five Tigers in the scoring lineup were freshmen or sophomores, led by rookie Michael Davis.
