Mar. 26 TigerCast: Rachel Rendina & Danny Hoy
March 26, 2015 | Baseball, General, Softball
As both prepare to begin their Ivy League seasons at home this weekend, softball senior Rachel Rendina and baseball junior Danny Hoy join the latest edition of TigerCast.
Rendina and the Princeton softball team are scheduled to open league play Friday afternoon with a doubleheader against Yale, and then will take on Brown Saturday afternoon. Winter weather has played havoc with the Tigers' schedule, so check back with GoPrincetonTigers.com and @PUTigers closer to the game times to see any potential changes; either way, the Tigers will eventually begin Ivy play with optimism that they can make a run at Penn for the division crown and move back into the Ivy League championship series.
Hoy, a three-year starter for the baseball team, and his Princeton teammates will make their Ivy League and home debut Sunday afternoon when the Tigers host Brown at Clarke Field. That will be the first of two doubleheaders, with games against Yale to follow on Monday. Princeton has seen a noticeable improvement in pitching recently, and it is hoping to carry that into a strong Ivy start this weekend.
