PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton University baseball team opens its home and Ivy League schedule this weekend with a pair of doubleheaders against Brown and Yale.
Originally scheduled for Saturday, Mar. 28, the Tigers will now face the Bears in a twinbill on Sunday, Mar. 29 beginning at 12 p.m. The following afternoon, Princeton welcomes Yale for a doubleheader on Clarke Field.
The Tigers are 100-59-4 all-time against Brown, while holding a 154-180-4 record against Yale. Princeton took both games against the Bears last season (W, 3-2/W, 10-6), while suffering a pair of setbacks against the Bulldogs (L, 2-1/L, 4-2).
LAST TIME OUT
• Princeton dropped a 6-5 decision to Seton Hall in its final non-conference tune-up before its Ivy League weekend opener.
• Down 3-2 in the top of the ninth, the Tigers loaded the bases before pushing across three runs with two outs on a Paul Tupper RBI single and a pair of Pirate errors.
