One Round Complete for Prchal at NCAA Regional

Quinn Prchal finished at 4-over for his first round at the NCAA men's golf regional at Yale Thursday with two rounds left to make a move.
Fourteen teams and five individuals make up the 75-player field. The top five teams and the top player not on one of those teams will advance to the NCAA Championships later this month. If the tournament ended today, that'd be Northwestern's Dylan Wu at -2. Like Prchal, Wu qualified to the regional as an individual.
Prchal opened his round with a bogey on the first hole but made it up on the seventh to get back to even par. He fell back to +1 after a bogey on the eighth hole and had another birdie-bogey pair to start the back nine and stand at +1 through 11 holes. Prchal hit some trouble on the 15th and 16th holes, bogeying 15 and double-bogeying 16 to add three strokes before making par on the final two holes.
