Princeton Women's Water Polo Announces 2016 Schedule

COMPLETE SCHEDULE
PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton University women's water polo team has released its schedule for the upcoming 2016 season.
The Tigers will open the year by hosting the Princeton Invitational on Feb. 12-14. The Orange and Black kick off tournament play against Cal Baptist (Feb. 12) before facing CAMO and Cal Lutheran the following afternoon. Princeton will then meet Iona in Sunday's finale.
Closing out their first month of action, the Tigers head to Lewisburg, Pa. to square off with VMI, Wagner, and Washington & Jefferson at the Bucknell Invitational. Following a nearly three-week break, Princeton travels west for the Loyola Marymount Invitational and will face Azusa Pacific, Whittier, and the host Lions on Mar. 18-19.
The Tigers open CWPA play against Michigan on Saturday, Apr. 9. Princeton then faces Indiana, and Harvard on Apr. 9-10 in Ann Arbor, Mich., before returning home for four games against Brown, George Washington, Hartwick, and Bucknell on Apr. 16-17.
Last season, Princeton posted a 31-5 overall (9-1 CWPA) record en route to a fourth CWPA Championship and third NCAA Tournament appearance. Ultimately finishing sixth in the nation, the Tigers tied a program record with 31 wins.
