Dombrowski Third, Tigers Stand Fourth at Georgetown

Alex Dombrowski stands tied for third place after Monday's two rounds at the Princeton Invitational, carding a 4-under 67 for his first 18 holes at the Georgetown Invitational at the Members Club at Four Streams in Beallsville, Md.
Dombrowski's cards helped lift the Tigers into a tie for fourth heading into Tuesday's final round, which will begin at 8:30 a.m.
Junior Eric Mitchell led all players with a 2.75 scoring average on par 3s through the first 36 holes, getting eight birdies in all over the two rounds. Dombrowski was second in par-4 scoring (3.86) and tied for first in par-5 scoring (4.33) for the first two rounds.
Notre Dame's Ben Albin shared the low round for the tournament so far with a first-round 66 to lead the field at -8 after 36 holes, two shots better than Rhode Island's Billy Walthouse. Albin lifted the Irish to an 8-under standing as a team, leading second-place Georgetown by four shots. Eastern Michigan is third at -1, ahead of Princeton and DePaul at +9.
