Jordan Lippetz was the top Tiger as the Princeton women's golf team finished the Princeton Invitational Sunday at Springdale Golf Club in fifth place.
Harvard's Michelle Xie was the only player to finish in red numbers, ending her three rounds at -2 to stand four shots better than Yale's Jennifer Peng and Columbia's Camilla Vik. On the team tote, Vik's Lions, at +27, were two shots better than Georgetown to win the team title.
Princeton's Sunday round was its best of the three, at 299, and Lippetz's second-round 67 remained the tournament low on her way to a +5 finish for the weekend. Princeton also fielded a second team of four players that tied for 10th in the 12-team, 11-school field.
The Tigers will head to Yale next weekend for the Bulldogs' tournament, the final one of the fall for Princeton.
