2. Tigers' Offense – Princeton still ranks as one of the best offenses in the country. The Tigers are 11th in field goal percentage (46.4) and 18th and in scoring offense (76.6). Princeton has made over 50 percent from the floor in five of the last seven games. Head coach Courtney Banghart's squad has shot under 44 percent in just nine of its 28 games this year.
3. Tough Defense – The Tigers' defense was another standout over the final three Ivy League contests. Princeton has not allowed an opponent to shoot over 40 percent in the last nine games. During that stretch, the Tigers have held three teams under 20 made baskets including their Senior Day win over Dartmouth on Saturday.
4. A Unique Player – There are only two players in women's basketball history to score over 1,300 points and make over 200 career three-pointers. The first, Sandi Bittler '90, has the most points (1,683) and three-pointers made (246) in program history. The second is senior Michelle Miller, who stands at 1,311 points and 212 baskets from beyond the arc. Those marks place Miller third in three-pointers made and eighth in points. The senior reached the 1,300-point milestone vs. Dartmouth on Saturday.
5. Senior Day Honors – Before the game vs. Dartmouth, the team honored its five seniors, Amanda Berntsen, Annie Tarakchian, Michelle Miller, Alex Wheatley and Taylor Williams. Fittingly, it was Williams who scored the final basket of the night vs. Dartmouth. The senior class is currently sitting at 97 wins and will finish with two Ivy League titles and four postseason appearances.
