STANFORD, Calif. (4/1/16) - Senior Emily de La Bruyere won section 3 of the women's 5,000 at the Stanford Invitational on Friday night.
de La Bruyere posted a time of 16:04.19 and had the lead for the final 1600 meters after holding steady in the lead pack for the front half of the race.
Freshman Brighie Leach ran 4:31.78 in the 1500 to take seventh in section 5.
