Women's Track & Field Welcomes 11 in the Class of 2030

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton women's track & field team will welcome 11 new members this fall in the Class of 2030.
Coming off a year of historic success that saw Princeton claim the first back-to-back Triple Crowns in Ivy League history, the Class of 2030 will join a squad that is looking to use its momentum to reach even greater heights in 2026-27.
“We are super excited to welcome the class of 2030. Their talents span across all the event groups, reinforcing our program’s commitment to continuing to be one of the deepest, most well-rounded women’s track teams in the NCAA," said Head Coach Michelle Eisenreich. "These women are more than ready to take on the challenge of helping us win our next Triple Crown.”

From the Coaches: “Ella will prove herself to be one of most versatile athletes in the Class of 2030. She is a seven-time PIAA state champion in her career (four in 300m hurdles, two in 100m hurdles, one in high jump). Whether on track or in the wider community, a positive culture is cultivated when Ella enriches the lives of her peers. Ella’s primary event will be the 400m hurdles and she will be a focal point in assembling a nationally recognized hurdles program.”

Already, I feel valued and accepted into the team before even attending my first practice. We are beyond excited for her potential for growth at Princeton amongst a dynamic group of javelin throwers.”

However, what ultimately made me choose Princeton is the people. She improved nearly thirty feet this season due in large part to an incredible work ethic and determination. Her energy and focus will be a tremendous addition to the team as we continue to build our presence on the national stage.”

Along with Ella Bahn, Taylor should help our hurdle program reach national relevancy. Her 100-meter hurdle time, lowered by 1.1 second since her junior season, is only the third fastest performance by a New York high school hurdler. She possesses a combination of athletic intensity, intellectual curiosity, and a social conscience that defines a Princetonian.”

Eva is a two-time District of Columbia State Champion in both horizontal jumps. As she continues to refine her technique and build strength, Eva’s upward trajectory suggests significant long-term potential as a jumper. With continued development and collegiate-level coaching, she has the tools to grow into a reliable and impactful performer in the Ivy League.

Her presence will move Princeton’s needle closer to its goal of having yearly representation at the NCAA Indoor and Outdoor Championships in the relay events.”
Why Princeton: “Stepping foot on campus last fall, I immediately fell in love with not only Princeton’s campus, but everything it had to offer. I felt extremely welcomed by the coaches and athletes, and admired how enthused they were about Princeton. Carter will make an instant impact as we continue to chase championships and national prominence in the seasons ahead.”

The campus is extremely beautiful, undergraduate focused, and is immersed with compassionate staff and well-driven facilities. As a whole, the team is uplifting, kind, driven, and incredibly smart.
