Men's Golf Stands Fifth at Ivy Championships

With two rounds to play at the Ivy League men's golf championships, Princeton stands in fifth place, 17 shots back of leader Harvard at Metedeconk National Golf Club in Jackson, N.J.
The Crimson hold a nine-shot lead over second-place Dartmouth on the team tote, while a player from each team shares the top of the individual leaderboard 18 holes in. Harvard's Greg Royston and Dartmouth's Ian Kelsey each turned in even-par cards, one shot better than three other players at +1.
Sophomore Michael Davis stands as the top Tiger at +2, tied for sixth overall and just two shots back of Royston and Kelsey. Davis birdied the par-3 seventh hole in the opening round while classmate Marc Hedrick birdied the par-3 11th, the lowest scores on a hole for any Tiger in Friday's round.
The Tigers will begin second-round play at 8:25 a.m. Saturday.
