Men's Track Begins Day 1 at Penn Relays with Distance Races

Senior Eddie Owens was the first Tiger on the track at Franklin Field and was 14th in the championship steeplechase. Owens clocked a time of 9:15.04 to finish sixth in section 1.
Freshman Jeremy Spiezio ran 14:51.19 to take 15th out of 68 competitors in the championship 5k. Senior Sam Berger ran 14:56.99 to finish 19th in section 2 and was 59th overall. In the Olympic Development 5k, Rob Stone was 10th at 14:40.08, while Kenan Farmer was 12th at 14:41.84.
