PRINCETON, N.J. (5/15/16) - Two Tigers scored on the final day of the 2016 IC4A Track & Field Championships as Princeton finished in fifth place out of 47 teams, with 38.33 points.
Freshman Stefan Amokwandoh was eighth in the triple jump to earn a point for the Tigers. He jumped to 14.71 (48-3.25) on his final attempt. Amokwandoh also had jumps of 14.67, 14.33, 14.32
Junior Xavier Bledsoe tied for eighth in the high jump at 2.03 (6-8). He cleared the height on his third attempt.
Freshman Jeremy Spiezio just missed a scoring spot in the 1500 finals as he placed ninth at 3:57.85. He posted splits of 41,80, 1:02.10, 1:07.08 and 1:06.89
This was the final qualifying weekend of track & field. The final descending order list for the NCAA Regional will be posted at 8 p.m Monday, May 16. The list of accepted athletes will be posted on Thursday, May 19.
