Mens Track & Field Hands Out Annual Awards

PRINCETON, N.J. (5/20/16) - The Princeton men's track & field team held its annual team banquet this week, handing out team awards and celebrating its senior class of Sam Berger, Adam Bragg, Luke Brahm, Greg Caldwell, Brett Kelly, Daniel McCord, Travis McHugh, Jordan Myers, Bryan Oslin, Eddie Owens, David Pugliese, Jake Scinto and Michael Sublette.
The Babb Memorial Award, awarded to a freshman member of the track team, who through sportsmanship, influence and performance, has contributed to the sport at Princeton, was given to Adam Kelly and Charles Volker.
Jake Scinto was the recipient of the Bonthron Award. It is awarded to the member of the varsity track & field team, who through sportsmanship, influence and performance, has contributed to the sport at Princeton.
Jordan Myers was also the winner of the Joseph Myers Award. Awarded annually to the member of the team who has distinguished himself in scholarship, athletic performance and character.
The Peter J. Morgan Award, handed out to that member of the team who best exemplifies the qualities of spirit, determination, integrity and sportsmanship was shared between Adam Bragg, Greg Caldwell and sophomore Carrington Akosa
The Morton Diamond Award, now in its third year, was presented to junior Ray Mennin. The award will be presently annually to that member of the Princeton varsity track & field squad whose outstanding individual championship meet performance surpassed expectations and contributed to the team.
