JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (5/28/16) - Senior Emily de La Bruyere concluded her Princeton career at the NCAA East Regional in the 5k as the regional concluded tonight at the University of North Florida.

Qualifying in two events, de La Bruyere competed in the steeplechase quarterfinals last night to finish 28th overall.

Heat 2 of the 5k started off much faster than the first and after 1800 meters, de La Bruyere was in 16th place at 5:50.77. Three laps later of splits of 1:20, she was in 19th place at 9:52.10. She moved into 14th at 3400 meters and inched her way into 13th after another lap and then into 12th at 4200 meters. She remained in 12th through the finish, posting a 16:41.77.

Senior Cecilia Barowski has qualified for the NCAA Championship in the 800 meters. The semifinal will take place on Thursday, June 9.
