One Round Remains for Men's Golf at Duke

In a strong field at Duke's Rod Myers Invitational, the Princeton men's golf team stands in ninth place in its fall opener heading into Sunday's play. Saturday's second round was suspended with two players on the 18th hole.
Tee times will begin at 7:35 a.m. for the third round with Wake Forest, the 14th-ranked team in the nation, leading second-place Liberty by 12 shots at -18. Liberty's Kieran Vincent turned in a 10-under scorecard through the first two rounds to stand three shots in front of Wake Forest's Will Zalatoris, one of the two players on the 18th hole when play was suspended.Â
Eric Mitchell paced Princeton at 1-over to stand tied for 19th place overall. Mitchell carded seven birdies over the two rounds, including one apiece on the par-3 fourth and 12th holes. Michael Davis and Alex Dombrowski each had an eagle on the par-5 ninth hole, and Dombrowski picked up birdies on the par-3 12th in each of Saturday's two rounds.
