No. 14 Wake Forest came away with the team title at Duke's Rod Myers Invitational when the third and final round came to a close Sunday afternoon in Durham.
The Demon Deacons finished with a nine-shot advantage on runner-up Liberty, while the strong field saw Florida State, North Carolina and Duke round out the top five. Princeton took 10th in its opening tournament of the fall.
Eric Mitchell carded a 72 in Sunday's final round to lead Princeton at +1, placing 18th overall. Mitchell and Jason Chen both carded birdies on par-3s Sunday, Mitchell on the eighth hole and Chen on the 15th.
Liberty's Kieran Vincent won medalist honors at -15, six shots in front of Wake Forest's Will Zalatoris.
The Tigers will return to action at Northwestern's Windon Memorial, Sept. 25-26.
