Saturday saw the Princeton men's tennis team play another round of singles and doubles matches at the Hall of Fame ITA Grass Court Invitational in Newport, R.I.
Luke Gamble, Jimmy Wasserman and Payton Holden had wins in singles play, with Gamble defeating TCU's Reese Stalder and Wasserman topping TCU's Scott Martinson, both in straight sets, and Holden holding off Michigan's Kevin Wong in a second-set tiebreak. Princeton won both of its doubles contests, with 21st-ranked Alex Day and Luke Gamble defeating Michigan's Jathan Malik and Kevin Wong 8-7 in a consolation match of their four-team draw and Tom Colautti and Payton Holden defeating Jonathan Carcione and Ben Tso in an all-Princeton battle in another four-team draw.
Play will conclude Sunday with a round of singles contests beginning at 10 a.m.
