September 28, 2016 | Men's Basketball
Mitch Henderson, the Franklin C. Cappon-Edward G. Green '40 head coach of the Princeton men's basketball team, will continue his efforts on behalf of the American Cancer Society in October as part of the organization's Real Men Wear Pink initiative.
Among Henderson's previous efforts on behalf of ACS are his Lobby Day efforts, visiting Washington to encourage ACS members' efforts in promoting cancer research, addressing groups locally to increase awareness of ACS's Cancer Prevention Study-3 initiative, and traveling to New York to appear at Yankee Stadium and at the NASDAQ stock exchange to promote the organization's efforts.
The Real Men Wear Pink initiative is a fundraising competition in which Henderson and his fellow participants will wear pink every day during October. Henderson's page in the competition can be found here.
