Lund and Neatby Named ECAC Hockey Player & Goalie of the Month

The 2016 ECAC Hockey Rookie of the Year Karlie Lund was named the league's Player of the Month for the month of December while rookie Steph Neatby was named the Goalie of the Month, it was announced by the league office this afternoon.
Lund led the league in scoring during the month of December with 11 points in five games, averaging 2.20 points per game. She scored four times and assisted on seven goals. She finished with a +8 on-ice rating and won 69 face offs (57.5%), and is the middle of a 13-game point scoring streak. Lund began the month with a four-point game at Rensselaer, having a hand in every Princeton goal. The following afternoon she added three more points at Union. In a series with Mercyhurst she had two goals and one assist, and against Penn State had one assist. Lund leads the team in scoring and ranks fifth in the nation in points per game.
Neatby had the best record in the league this month with a perfect 3-0 mark. She had a .955 save percentage with 84 saves on 88 shots and a 1.33 goals against average. She started the month with a shutout of Rensselaer making 27 saves and then posted a sweep of Mercyhurst with 26 stops in game one and 31 in game two. Neatby is now 4-1 after a win over No. 8 Quinnipiac on New Year's Day. Neatby was also the ECAC Goalie of the Week for the week ending Jan. 1.
