Schrage, Steffensen Move On at ITA Regionals

Both of Princeton's seeded players, senior Katrine Steffensen and freshman Stephanie Schrage, have advanced to the fourth round after winning a pair of matches Friday at the ITA Northeast Regional at Penn.
Steffensen, seeded in the second four, beat Rutgers' Mingxiu Du and Yale's Elizabeth Zordani, each in straight sets, to set up a meeting with Penn's unseeded Lina Qostal in the round of 16. Schrage, seeded in the second eight, beat Fordham's Carina Ma in three sets before moving on to the round of 16 when Penn's Jimena Rodriguez-Benito retired with Schrage leading 5-3 in the first set. Schrage will meet Columbia's Jennifer Kerr, seeded in the second 16, in the next round.
