Harris Named GPT Athlete of the Week

Senior Allison Harris has been named the GoPrincetonTigers.com Athlete of the Week, presented by Coach USA for the week ending Feb. 12.
Harris set the Princeton school record as well as the Ivy League record in the pole vault, this weekend at the Virginia Tech Challenge. Harris cleared 4.27 (14-0) on her second attempt at the height to become the first Ivy League to reach 14 feet. That clearance now ranks her ninth in the country. The Toronto, Ontario, native already owned both records after clearing 4.20 last season.
Harris was also named co-Heps Women's Athlete of the Week.
Princeton competes for the Ivy League title this weekend at the Ivy League Heptagonal Championships at The Armory.
