Neatby Named Rookie & Goalie of the Week

Princeton women's hockey freshman Steph Neatby was named the ECAC Hockey Rookie and Goalie of the Week, it was announced by the league office on Tuesday, Feb. 28.
Neatby went 2-1 with one shutout as Princeton defeated No. 10 Quinnipiac in the quarterfinals best-of-three series. On Friday, she made a career high 60 saves in a 3-2 triple overtime to Quinnipiac. She bounced back with a shutout, stopping 29 saves and nearly had a second shutout before allowing an extra-attacker goal with 13 seconds left in a 2-1 Game 3.
In 226:34 she made 117 saves and allowed four goals for a 1.06 GAA and .967 save percentage. Her 60 saves on Friday was the second-most saves made by a Princeton goaltender - male or female in history.
Neatby has been announced as a finalist for both ECAC Hockey Rookie and Goaltender of the Year. During the season she has won seven ECAC Hockey weekly honors, two ECAC Hockey monthly honors and was named January's National Rookie of the Month by the Hockey Commissioner's Association.
Neatby and the Tigers will take on Clarkson in the ECAC semifinals this Saturday in Potsdam, N.Y.
