Eye on the Tigers
Princeton is off to its best start since the 2008 season with a 5-0 record. The Tigers most recently defeated its first ranked opponent - Notre Dame, 14-8 and now has its highest ranking since the 2009 season at No. 6 in the IWLCA poll. The Tigers average 22.80 points per game, the third most in the country. Senior Olivia Hompe, who net her 200th career point last weekend, has 27 on the season thanks to 20 goals which is the fourth most goals in the country. Freshman Tess D'Orsi has 15 goals and three assists. Junior Colby Chanenchuk has tallied 15 points, while sophomore Allie Rogers has 14. Three Tigers have eight draws apiece: junior Ellie McNulty, senior Anna Doherty and sophomore Elizabeth George. Sophomore defender Alex Argo has a team-high six caused turnovers and adds 10 ground balls.Senior Ellie DeGarmo has played every minute and has a 57.6 save percentage - the fourth highest save percentage in the nation. She has made 57 saves and allowed 42 goals for 8.40 goals per game.

Princeton leads Penn State 23-14 in the all-time series. Last year the Nittany Lions took a 14-10 game on their home turf, while Princeton won 12-11 the last time the teams played here on Sherrerd Field in 2015.
