Dobrijevic To Be Honored For Elite 90 Award At Final Four

PRINCETON, N.J. – Ellen Dobrijevic will be honored for her Elite 90 Award accolade at halftime of the NCAA Men's National Championship game next Monday (Apr. 3).

The senior was recently announced as a National Field Hockey Coaches' Association (NFHCA) Division-I Scholar of Distinction. To be a Scholar of Distinction, student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of 3.9 or higher through the first semester of the academic year. Dobrijevic was also a four-time member of the NFHCA's National Academic Squad.

Dobrijevic became the first Princeton athlete to ever win the NCAA Elite 90 Award. The Elite 90, an award founded by the NCAA, recognizes the true essence of the student-athlete by honoring the individual who has reached the pinnacle of competition at the national championship level in his or her sport, while also achieving the highest academic standard among his or her peers. The Elite 90 is presented to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative grade-point average participating at the finals site for each of the NCAA's championships.
