Wan's second of the morning put the Tigers up 2-0 less than a minute later. After UC-San Diego got on the board, Castellano registered her first tally of the game on a five-meter chance to set the score at 3-1 with 6:23 left in the first half.
The Tritons took less than two minutes to tie the contest at 3-all (5:00). Chelsea Johnson answered with a tally right before the intermission to give Princeton 4-3 advantage.
16 seconds into the second half, Castellano put Princeton back in front by two. Again, UC-San Diego made a push, dropping in two goals to tie the game at 5-all with 1:35 remaining in the third quarter. Ashleigh Johnson did her best to keep the matchup tied at 5-all.
In the fourth quarter, Sydney Saxe picked no better time for her first goal of the weekend as she gave the Tigers the lead with under six minutes to go.
