Princeton Climbs Back Into The CWPA Varsity Poll Top 10

PRINCETON, N.J. – After a sparkling 4-0 weekend at the Crimson Invitational, the Princeton Tigers jumped into a tie for the No. 10 position with UC Santa-Barbara in the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Varsity Poll.

Princeton 7, No. 16 UC-San Diego 5 - Highlights
Princeton is 11-0 on the season with six of those victories coming against ranked opponents. The Tigers have given up five goals or less in eight of their 11 games this year. This is the third best start in program history (2012, 2014).
USC remains as the top team in the Varsity Poll for the second straight week. Princeton will take on USC on Mar. 23 in Los Angeles. Stanford is No. 2 followed by UCLA, Calif., and Cal-Irvine. Michigan is the top CWPA team in the poll at No. 6.
The Tigers will take some time before traveling out west. Head coach Luis Nicolao's team opens the West Coast trip vs. No. 17 San Diego State on Mar. 18 (4:30 p.m.).
