Multi-Event Meet Slated for Weaver Stadium Wednesday & Thursday

Prior to the Larry Ellis Invitational this weekend, April 21-22, Weaver Stadium will be the site of the Princeton Multi-Event Meet. The meet will take place on Wednesday and Thursday, April 19-20.
This is the first opportunity the multi-event athletes will have a chance to compete in a decathlon and a heptathlon.
Sophomores Frances Lodge and Mikaela Sawyer will tackle the heptathlon for the women. Lodge has a PR of 4554 in the heptathlon and was one place out of a scoring spot at Ivy Heps in the pentathlon. Sawyer has competed just one in the heptathlon, in 2016 and picked up 4260 points.
Junior James Burns, freshman Justice Dixon, freshman Phillip Frost, freshman Harry Lord and sophomore Ryan Ozminkowski will compete in the decathlon. During the indoor season, the best overall heptathlon score came from the rookie Dixon with 4,979 points. Dixon, Frost and Lord each competed at the Ivy League Heptagonal going 6-7-8.
