April 06, 2017 | Women's Water Polo
PRINCETON, N.J. – The No. 10 Princeton Tigers continue to fight for position in the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) standings this weekend as they make the trip to Hartwick College.
Princeton sits second (3-1) in the CWPA standings behind No. 7 Michigan (5-0). Four other teams in the conference have played one game or fewer as teams look to chase down Princeton and Michigan.
The Tigers open on Saturday (1 p.m.) vs. the No. 14 Indiana Hoosiers. The Hoosiers lead the all-time series, 13-10. These two teams have been as evenly matched as possible over the last few years as the last four meetings have been decided by one goal, two of which have gone into overtime. The Tigers last defeated the Hoosiers in the 2015 CWPA Championship game.
Princeton will battle Brown later on Saturday at 7 p.m. The Tigers have not lost to the Bears since 2010, having won 13 consecutive meetings. Head coach Luis Nicolao's unit finishes the weekend on Sunday vs. the host school, Hartwick, at 3 p.m. The Tigers hold a 14-11 advantage all-time vs. the Hawks. Princeton dropped Hartwick 13-12 in the 2016 regular season and 17-10 in the CWPA third place contest in last May.

Another standout performer has been Eliza Britt, who has 18 goals, 23 assists, 22 steals, 14 drawn ejections and a team-high 14 sprint wins.
