Johnson Selected As CWPA Defensive Player Of The Week, Tigers No. 10 In Varsity Poll

PRINCETON, N.J. – After helping the Princeton Tigers to second place at the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Championships, Ashleigh Johnson was selected as the CWPA Defensive Player of the Week.
It's the 19th time in her sparkling career that she's been named the Defensive Player of the Week. She had 35 saves over the weekend and allowed 17 goals in three games. With her stellar performance, Johnson was picked for the CWPA All-Tournament First Team. She finishes her senior season with a 22-4 record, 300 saves and a .693 save percentage. She led the team with 54 steals and added 16 assists.
The CWPA also released the Varsity Poll with the Tigers coming in the No. 10 position. UCLA was the top program in the poll followed by Stanford, USC, Calif., Cal-Irvine and Arizona State. Michigan, the CWPA Champions, are No. 7 in the poll.
