Top-Ranked Stanford Wins Inaugural Class of 2015 Cup

The top-ranked Stanford Cardinal capped a perfect regular season with a Saturday victory in the inaugural Class of 2015 Cup showdown. The reigning IRA champions topped fourth-ranked Princeton by 8.8 seconds to win the last race before the 2017 IRA Championships.
The Class of 2015 Cup was introduced during the offseason, and Princeton just didn't have enough Saturday morning to upset Stanford. One week after they made a big push to claim bronze at the Eastern Sprints, the Cardinal got out to a significant lead and never allowed the Tigers back into the race.
Stanford also won the fours race to complete the morning.
Following the races, Princeton honored its seven seniors after their final competition on Lake Carnegie.
