Tigers Earn Eight All-Ivy League Honors at Ivy Heps

PRINCETON N.J. (5/9/17) - Allison Harris was named the Most Outstanding Field Performer at the 2017 Outdoor Ivy League Heptagonal Championship, the second time she has earned the honor in her career. She won her fourth pole vault title, and second outdoor title as Princeton finished third at Ivy Heps. Harris owns both the league and Princeton records in the event at 4.15
Julia Ratcliffe won her fourth hammer throw title, becoming the first thrower in Ivy League history to win the title four times. Her wins in 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2017 are the best four throws in Ivy Heps history.
Lizzie Bird earned two-first team All-Ivy League honors as she won her second steeplechase and led off the winning 4x800 relay. Bird has scored in the steeplechase all four years, taking fourth as a freshman and taking second a year ago in addition to her two victories.
The 4x800 relay won its first Ivy Heps title since the 2013 season with Anna Jurew, Zoe Sims and Jackie Berardo also taking first-team All-Ivy League honors. Berardo also claimed a second-team honor as she was the runner-up in the 800.
