Princeton hits the road for its next two games, traveling to Boston University for a midweek afternoon game on Tuesday, Sept. 19. This is just the second meeting between the two teams at Nickerson Field.

The Tigers look to turn its season around after getting off to a 0-3-1 start. The squad has lost its last two games in heartbreaking fashion, in the final minute. Princeton opened the season with a impressive 1-1 draw at No. 8 Syracuse. Senior James Reiner has scored twice, while junior Jeremy Colvin has one goal and one assists. Freshman Frankie DeRosa, senior Daniel Bowkett and sophomore Cole Morokhovich have also made the scorebook. Princeton has put more shots on goal that its opponents, which bodes well moving forward. Sophomore Jacob Schachner has played every minute in goal and has a 1.60 goals against average and a .696 save percentage.
Princeton and Boston University have met every season since 2014. After a 2-2 tie in Boston that first season, Princeton captured matching 2-1 wins at home the last two seasons. Last year in an ESPNU televised contest, Benjamin Martin scored the game-winning goal in the 56th minute, after the teams had traded goals four minutes apart in the first half. Shots fell heavily in the Terriers favor, 15-6 while shots on goal were nearly even at 5-4.
BU is 1-5 on the season losing all five games by shutout to start the season. The Terriers got their first win of the season on Saturday when they defeated Harvard 1-0 at Nickerson Field. Adam Sheikali has that lone goal of the season, assisted by Satchel Cortet. BU is still looking for players to step up in those scoring roles, after it lost its top two scorers from last year, who combined for 36 points. Goalkeeping has also been a question, with three different keepers seeing playing time. William Bonnelyche has started in four games and has a 1.50 GAA and a .625 save percentage.
