
Men's Tennis Team to Host Ivy Plus Invitational Friday Through Sunday

Seventeen men's tennis teams whose rosters feature 21 ITA-ranked singles players and eight ranked doubles pairs will come to the Lenz Tennis Center Friday through Sunday for the Ivy Plus Invitational.
Along with Princeton, the teams scheduled to send players are Baylor, Brown, Buffalo, Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, Florida, Harvard, Monmouth, UNC Asheville, Penn, Penn State, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia Tech and Yale. The competitors will play in one of four singles draws of 16 players each and four doubles draws of eight pairs each, with each player getting the chance to play as many as four singles and three doubles contests.
The schedule will begin Friday at 9 a.m. for two rounds of doubles followed by a 1 p.m. start for one round of singles. Saturday, play will begin at 8:30 a.m. for two rounds of singles. Sunday, there's an 8:30 a.m. start for the final round of doubles and a 9:30 a.m. start for the final round of singles. In the event of inclement weather, play will be moved indoors to Jadwin Gym.
The tournament is the second of six weekends of competition for the Tigers in the fall and the first of two home events. Princeton will also host the Farnsworth Invitational Oct. 6-8.
