Women's Golf Team Stands Tops Among Ivies Entering Final Round at Penn State

Five Ivy League teams are in Penn State's Nittany Lion Invitational, and the Tigers are the best of the bunch heading into Sunday's final round.

Sunday's shotgun start is set for 9 a.m. on Penn State's Blue Course.

Overall, the Tigers are tied for fourth at +15. Penn State, at -2, leads Maryland by a stroke atop the team leaderboard, and Seton Hall's Madeline Sager, Penn State's Madelein Herr and Maryland's Laura Van Respaille are tied at -2 for medalist honors entering the final 18.

Junior Tiana Lau is the top Tiger, tied for 12th overall at +2 after an eagle on the par-5 18th hole in her first round Saturday. Princeton's second-round score of 292 was its best for a single round since a 291 in the final round of the 2015 Yale Women's Intercollegiate.
