Original Eleven Podcast: Mike Wagner, Jamel Mutunga, Ivy Opener Preview

The latest edition of the Original Eleven features interviews with rush linebacker Mike Wagner, who had two sacks in the Lafayette win, and new running backs coach Jamel Mutunga, who discusses the return of Charlie Volker, his backfield core, and the Columbia defense. Broadcaster Cody Chrusciel returns to look back at the 38-17 win at Lafayette, and then joins host Craig Sachson to discuss Saturday's Ivy League opener against Columbia (12:30, Princeton Stadium, Eleven Sports/Ivy League Network).
Segment 1: Wagner shares the story of how he went from a standout high school quarterback to somebody trying to take the opposing quarterback down, and he talks about the challenges of facing a talented passing attack like Columbia. He also looks at the development of this Tiger defense through two weeks.
Segment 2: Chrusciel and Sachson talk through another segment of Past/Present/Future for Princeton football … what stood out from the Week 2 win, what could be focuses for the team during the week, and what are we specifically looking for in the Ivy opener against Columbia.
Segment 3: Mutunga talks about Volker's presence in the offense, and his balance between being a sprint standout and a bruising tailback. He also discusses the development of Ryan Quigley and Collin Eaddy, as well as previewing a Columbia defense that has yet to allow a first-half point this season.
