Princeton Baseball In The Pros: Hale and Murphy Wrap Up Season With Oklahoma City

PRINCETON, N.J. – David Hale '11 completed his season, pitching into the sixth inning in eight of his final 10 starts of the season.
Hale, who bounced between Double-A and Triple-A, finished with the Oklahoma City Dodgers. In nine starts with the Dodgers, he went 2-4 with a 4.27 ERA. In three of those starts, his battery mate was another former Tiger, Jack Murphy.

Matt Bowman '14 – St. Louis Cardinals (MLB) – The reliever threw two scoreless outings over the week, earning his 22nd hold of the season vs. the San Francisco Giants on Thursday. The Cardinals have climbed to within three games of the second wildcard in the National League.
