Princeton Remains No. 3 In National Coaches' Poll

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton Tigers remained steady at No. 3 in the latest Penn Monto/NFHCA Division I National Coaches' Poll, the organization released today.
Princeton played once the previous week, rolling over Brown, 8-0. Julianna Tornetta recorded her first career hat trick, securing Ivy League Co-Player of the Week honors for her performance.
Princeton's No. 3 standing this season is its highest rank since Sept. 10, 2013.
Undefeated North Carolina secured 51 of the 52 first-place votes in earning the No. 1 spot. Maryland, with the other first-place tally, is second, followed by Princeton, Duke and UConn. Harvard (12-1) climbed all the way up to No. 9.
The Tigers take on the No. 9 Crimson Saturday (Oct. 20) at 12 p.m. These two rivals have finished 1-2 in the standings in each of the past two seasons with Princeton earning the crown in 2017 and Harvard in 2016.
