Tigers to Return to Lakewood Tournament in Florida This Weekend

Rookies Will Peters and Bill Duo and juniors Davey Roberts and Florida native Payton Holden will represent the Princeton men's tennis team at the Lakewood Ranch Invitational in Sarasota, Fla., Friday through Sunday.

It'll be the seventh straight year the program has competed at the event, and the Tiger foursome will be competing alongside players from Florida, Florida Gulf Coast, Florida State, Illinois, Louisville, Michigan, Navy, Notre Dame and Oklahoma State.

In doubles, Friday at 8:30 a.m., Peters and Holden will open against FGCU's Mateo Ruiz and Marcelo Tebet, and Roberts and Duo will open against Notre Dame's Johnathan Small and Guillermo Cabrera. In singles, Friday at 11 a.m., Peters will start against Florida's Harrison Cacciatore, Holden will start against Florida State's Chase Wood, Duo will start against Florida's Brian Berdusco, and Roberts will start against FGCU's Javier Fernandez. Two rounds of both doubles and singles are planned for Friday, including a round of consolation play in singles.

Saturday will feature one round of doubles starting at 9 a.m. and two rounds of singles starting at 11:30 a.m. and 3 p.m., and Sunday will have singles finals at 11:30 a.m. and the doubles final following.
