NCAA Tournament Bracket
Last year, the Princeton women's soccer team's postseason didn't end until the Tigers won their way to a quarterfinal trip to eventual national runner-up UCLA.
This year, the program's 13th trip to the NCAA tournament will begin at Texas Tech, a program 24th-ranked Princeton has never faced.
The winner will face the winner between Virginia, the third overall seed, and Monmouth, the following weekend. Princeton's game against Texas Tech will be Friday at 6 p.m. CT/7 p.m. ET.
Princeton (11-3-2) won its 10th Ivy League title Saturday when the Tigers defeated Penn 1-0 to finish 5-1-1 in the league, even with the Quakers and holding the Ivy's automatic NCAA bid thanks to the head-to-head win.
Senior Mimi Asom, a Dallas native, had the lone goal in Saturday's game to give her 43 goals and 95 points for her career, both third in program history.
The Red Raiders finished the regular season 13-5-2 overall and 5-3-1 in the Big 12, making the conference tournament semifinals before losing 2-1 to top-seeded Baylor in overtime. Baylor is the second seed in Princeton's quadrant of the 64-team draw.
