Alarie Earns Ivy Weekly Honor and GPT Athlete of the Week

PRINCETON, N.J. – For the 10th time in her career, Bella Alarie was selected as the Ivy League Player of the Week. She was also honored as Suburban Transit/GoPrincetonTigers.com Athlete of the Week.

Alarie was incredible against the Quinnipiac Bobcats on Saturday, registering 16 points with a career-high 19 rebounds, adding five blocks, two steals and two assists. She was part of a defensive effort that created 21 Quinnipiac turnovers, the Bobcats' highest total of the season while holding the road squad to 42 points, its lowest amount since Mar. 7, 2016.

The 2018 Ivy League Player of the Year was a six-time Player of the Week award winner last season, while securing nine Ivy Rookie of the Week honors and three more Player of the Week selections as a freshman. She is now tied for seventh in conference history with her 10 weekly honors and is third all-time for Princeton behind Niveen Rasheed (14) and Blake Dietrick (11).

The Tigers continue their non-conference schedule at Monmouth tomorrow (Dec. 11). Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. Check out the preview here.
