2019 Schedule
PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton Tigers has released their 2019 schedule, head coach Derek Ellingson announced today.
For the second straight season, Princeton starts its season at the Arizona State Invitational (Feb. 1-2). The Tigers take on the host, Arizona State, along with Azusa Pacific, UC Santa-Barbara and CSU-Monterey Bay.
A week later, the Princeton Invitational comes to DeNunzio Pool as the Tigers welcome Iona and St. Francis-Brooklyn (Feb. 9). After a meeting at Villanova (Feb. 16) and at LaSalle (Feb. 22), Ellingson's group takes part in the Marist Invitational (Feb. 23-24) to complete the month of February.
March opens with the Crimson Invitational (Mar. 2-3) where the Tigers get Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) action started vs. Harvard and also play UC-Davis, Cal-Baptist and the University of Toronto.
The first home CWPA contest is against George Washington on Mar. 9. The Tigers head west for the LMU Invitational (Mar. 15-16) and then match up vs. San Diego State (Mar. 19), Concordia (Mar. 20) and Long Beach State (Mar. 21).
The home portion of the schedule concludes vs. Wagner on Mar. 30. The Tigers travel to Harvard for neutral sites matchups vs. Saint Francis (Apr. 6) and Michigan (Apr. 7). Princeton finishes the 2019 regular season against Brown (Apr. 13) and Bucknell (Apr. 14) before the CWPA Championships (Apr. 26-28) at Brown.
