Tigers Honor Seniors; Host Two Top-10 Teams

EYE ON THE TIGERS
Princeton is 10-11-4 overall and 8-9-1 in the ECAC to sit in sixth place in the league standings. The Tigers most recently posted four straight shutouts versus Brown, Yale, Penn State and Union - outscoring them 14-0, before suffering a 4-2 set back at Rensselaer on Saturday. Sophomore Carly Bullock led the ECAC in scoring with a six-point week and currently leads the team with 18 goals and four assists for 22 points. Junior Karlie Lund has 18 points, while senior Kiersten Falck has a team-high 14 assists and 17 points overall. Junior defender Stephanie Sucharda adds 15 points while fellow blueliner Claire Thompson has 12. Sophomore Stephanie Neatby is 8-9-4 in goal this season and has a 1.85 goals against average and a .931 save percentage.
The Tigers will honor its two seniors Kiersten Falck and Alysia DaSilva this weekend. Falck has played in an incredible 121 career games at Princeton and has 13 goals, four of which were game winners, and 39 assists for 44 points. DaSilva owns a .936 save percentage and a 1.55 goals against average with six shutouts in 29 career games.
SCOUTING THE GOLDEN KNIGHTS
After winning its 15th straight game this past weekend Clarkson has moved into first place in the national poll with a 26-3-1 overall record. The Golden Knights are in the lead for the ECAC with a 16-2 mark, with both losses being one-goal decisions in overtime at home. Clarkson has a potent scoring line of Loren Gabel-Michaela Pejzlova-Elizabeth Giguere, which accounts for 48 percent of the team's scoring. Gabel is the leader with 28 goals and 30 assists, while Giguere has a team-best 36 assists and 21 goals and Pajzolva has 20 goals and 19 assists. Two defenders following in scoring, Savannah Harmon and Ella Shelton with 27 and 21 points, respectively. Senior Shea Tiley has started in all but one game this season and a owns a .137 GAA and a .936 save percentage.
THE PRINCETON/CLARKSON SERIES
The series with Clarkson has been a see-saw of affairs, with Princeton dominating the first portion going 10-0-1. In the last few years the Golden Knights have had the advantage going 9-0-1 since the 2013-14 season. Princeton's last win was a 4-1 game in Potsdam on Feb. 15, 2013.
SCOUTING THE SAINTS
St. Lawrence heads into the weekend with a 16-9-3 overall record and ranked No. 8 in the latest USCHO poll. At 12-5-1 the Saints are in third place in the ECAC standings. Three players have eclipsed to the 30-point mark led by senior Kennedy Marchment. She has 14 goals and 18 assists for 32 points, while classmate Hannah Miller has 20 assists and 11 goals for 31 points. Junior Justine Reyes adds 14 goals and 16 assists. Freshman defender Skylar Podvey adds 17 points on five goals and 12 assists. The Saints split goaltending duties between juniors Grace Harrison and Sonjia Shelly. Harrison is 9-5-2 with a .905 save percentage and a 2.12 GAA, while Shelly is 7-4-1 with a .918 save percentage and a 2.00 GAA.
THE PRINCETON/ST. LAWRENCE SERIES
Princeton owns a 32-27-4 advantage in the all-time series with St. Lawrence, which dates back to 1982. The teams played to a 4-4 tie back on Nov. 17 at Appleton Arena with freshman Sarah Verbeek scoring the game-tying goal at 13:47 of the third period. Steph Neatby made 29 saves while St. Lawrence's Sonjia Shelly stopped 27 shots.
