Princeton Tied For No. 21 In CWPA Varsity Poll

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton Tigers are tied for No. 21 in the most recent Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Varsity Poll, the organization announced today.
Princeton went 0-4 at the Arizona State Challenge, facing four nationally ranked opponents including two in the top 10. The Tigers fell to No. 5 Arizona State, 14-9, before losses to No. 16 UC-San Diego (6-4), No. 21 Loyola Marymount (10-2) and No. 6 Hawaii (12-5).
Stanford remains the top team in the poll with USC, Cal., UCLA and Hawaii rounding out the top five. Michigan is still the highest CWPA team in the poll at No. 9.
The Tigers will take a week off before hosting the Princeton Invitational (Feb. 16-18). Princeton will battle the Chinese National Team on Feb. 16 at 5:30 p.m.
