No. 17 Princeton Drops Two To No. 13 Hartwick and No. 9 Michigan

ONEONTA, N.Y. – The No. 17 Princeton Tigers dropped a thriller, 13-12, to the No. 13 Hartwick Hawks before falling to the No. 9 Michigan Wolverines, 13-4, at Moyer Pool today.

The Highlights:
Princeton trailed 5-1 after the first quarter.
The Tigers rallied to eventually tie the game at 8-all.
Hartwick's Lauren Brennan scored the game-winner with 55 seconds to go.
The Recap:
The Hawks posted the first three goals of the contest and led by four after the first eight minutes, 5-1. Princeton hung around, getting within three, 7-4, at the intermission. Trailing by two, Eliza Britt and Haley Wan registered goals to tie the game at 8-all with 2:17 remaining in the third quarter. Hartwick retook the lead and led by two, 12-10, with only 4:50 left in the contest. Tallies from Wan and Lindsey Kelleher retied the game at 12 as the clock read 2:37. Brennan's game-winner came with under a minute to go, giving the Hawks a hard-fought victory.

The Wolverines used a 6-0 spurt to begin the second half to jump in front, 12-1, after 24 minutes. Princeton outscored Michigan, 3-1, in the final quarter, but did not threaten.
