Tigers Top Temple, Monmouth in Sunday Twinbill

Make it seven wins in a row for the 39th-ranked Princeton men's tennis team, which swept a twinbill from Temple, 7-0, and Monmouth, 4-0, Sunday in Jadwin Gym to wrap up a five-match homestand.
"It was good to get two wins today and head into our match at Penn State and spring break with momentum," Princeton coach Billy Pate said. "We had some solid performances today in both matches, but most importantly we have been starting out with good energy in doubles the past few weeks. That has enabled us to get off to better starts and gain the early edge in matches."
Against Temple, the Tigers began by winning the doubles point, taking the first two matches off court and following that with singles wins on court two from Luke Gamble, on court three from Davey Roberts and on court six from Payton Holden to clinch the win. Jimmy Wasserman, Diego Vives and Ryan Seggerman followed with singles wins of their own to complete the sweep.
Against Monmouth, Princeton made it seven doubles points in a row, winning on courts one and two to clinch the point before Gamble, Holden and Damian Rodriguez supplied the singles wins to get Princeton to 4-0 and clinch the match.
