No. 17 Princeton Extends Win Streak To Five; Drops Fresno Pacific and No. 11 Loyola Marymount

LOS ANGELES – The No. 17 Princeton Tigers completed the LMU Invitational with two more victories, defeating the Fresno Pacific Sun Birds, 18-2, and the No. 11 Loyola Marymount Lions, 6-5, at the Burns Aquatic Center on Saturday.

The Tigers' 18 goals are their most since an 18-4 win over VMI on Feb. 27, 2016.
Princeton scored the eight goals of the game and wasn't threatened.
Haley Wan, Maddie Pendolino and Lindsey Kelleher had hat tricks in the game.

Princeton rolled from there, even holding Fresno Pacific off the scoreboard for last 13 minutes of the game as well. Kasey Bersh playing in her third game of the season, did not allow a goal, playing the fourth quarter for Marissa Webb. Two combined for nine saves in the win.

The two squads combined for just two goals in the second quarter as Princeton took a 3-2 advantage into the break. The two top-25 teams went back and forth in a thrilling third frame that saw four goals. Trailing by a goal, Loyola Marymount tied the contest at 5-all as the clock just ticked under six minutes. Britt countered with the game-winner a little over a minute later.
