No. 17 Princeton's West Coast Spring Break Trip Continues This Week

SAN DIEGO, CALIF. - The No. 17 Princeton Tigers continue their Spring Break trip on the West Coast with three more contests this week.
Princeton will battle No. 20 San Diego State on Mar. 19 (6 p.m./3 p.m. PT), Concordia on Mar. 21 (4:30 p.m./1:30 p.m.) and No. 3 USC on Mar. 22 (8 p.m./5 p.m. PT). The matchup vs. San Diego State will have live stats on the FOSH website and you can watch the USC meeting on the Pac-12 Network, stream it on PAC-12.com or follow the live stats on FOSH as well. Princeton is 5-12 all-time against San Diego State, but has won four straight against the Aztecs. The Tigers have never lost to Concordia (4-0), but has never taken down USC (0-3).
The Tigers' trip to California so far has been … well .. perfect. Princeton went 4-0 at the LMU Invitational, taking down three ranked foes. On Friday (Mar. 16), head coach Becca Dorst's squad defeated No. 24 California Baptist, 8-6, and No. 23 Marist, 8-7. Haley Wan led the Tigers with three goals against California Baptist while Abbey Blake's tally with 2:53 to go against Marist proved to be the game-winner.
The next day (Mar. 17), the Tigers dropped Fresno Pacific, 18-2, and defeated No. 11 Loyola Marymount, 6-5. Princeton's 18 goals were the most it has had since Feb. 27, 2016 while Eliza Britt's goal with 4:31 remaining gave the Tigers their first victory over Loyola Marymount since 2015.
Wan has had a great trip in California, snagging 10 goals in four games. The senior leads the squad with 35 goals, 52 points and 31 steals. She is sixth all-time in career goals with 194 and third in assists with 123. She's 11 helpers shy of second place Taylor Dunstan '15 (134). Lindsey Kelleher has a team-best 21 assists, giving her 101 in her career, tied for fourth all-time. Chelsea Johnson (25) and Amy Castellano (21) also have at least 20 goals this season while Eliza Britt (19) is right behind them. Seven different Tigers have at least 10 steals and six players have registered drawn at least 10 ejections. Marissa Webb has a .625 save percentage and 162 saves in 17 starts for Princeton.
