Wan and Webb Earned CWPA Weekly Accolades

PRINCETON, N.J. – On the heels of a perfect California road trip so far, the No. 15 Princeton Tigers earned two Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) weekly honors, the conference announced today.
Haley Wan was selected as the CWPA Offensive Player of the Week while Marissa Webb earned the conference's Defensive Player of the Week. It's Wan's fifth weekly accolade while it's Webb' second honor in a month.
Wan has been outstanding in the Tigers' six games in California, collecting 21 points in six Princeton victories. She registered a hat trick and an assist vs. No. 24 California Baptist and followed that with a four-point outing vs. No.23 Marist. The senior missed just one shot, scoring four times against Fresno Pacific. Wan added a goal in Princeton's upset victory over No. 11 Loyola Marymount and snagged two goals and four assists in a victory over No. 20 San Diego State. On Wednesday, the senior picked up another hat trick vs. Concordia.
Webb began the West Coast Trip with 10 saves vs. No. 24 California Baptist in a win. The freshman goalie picked up eight more saves in a victory over No. 23 Marist. In an upset decision over No. 11 Loyola Marymount, Webb stopped nine shots and followed with nine more saves over No. 20 San Diego State.
Princeton takes on No. 3 USC tonight (Mar. 22) at 8 p.m. (5 p.m. PT). The game can be seen on the PAC-12 Network while live stats are available on the FOSH website.
